I like Lotus Notes and will be testing it soon
Lotus notes's replication far outstrips Outlook. Restoring a milfile is so much easier, repairing a mailfile can be done without a fuss. Th server software is very stable. The application side of Domino is what makes it so powerfull. Lotus Notes and Domino is an application suite for information distribution.

Outlook is only and will only be an e-mail client until the get IM and other aspects in which Domino already has.

There are distinct differences in how they can be used and are used.
