I hope this doesn't kill SuSE

I don't know what they're going to do, but I hope this doesn't kill SuSE - I hope they keep making it better. Just installed SuSE on my computer, and the hardest part about installing it was clicking "next" in YAST2. Detected all of my hardware automatically, including my CD-R .

On a Compaq computer too - Compaq has a history of not being Linux-friendly.

People are whining and complaining about Linux, but I think it's only a matter of time before you see it on a lot of desktops. It's already 1000% better than it was a year ago, and stuff like Apache are already very popular.

I think it's only a matter of time. Linux has been, and will, catch up to Windows. For being the youngest OS on the block, it's made huge leaps of progress, and shows a lot of promise for the future.
