You can worry about SUSE
But not anything else. If Novell loses, so what? There are only about 100 other distros to pick from.

Novell lost their market share because of price and service issues when MS came along. Now MS is boning their customers and Novell is back on the upswing. We'll see if they learned anything the last time.

Only this time Novell isn't the only game in town. They'll have to provide the service or someone else will eat their lunch.

That's one of the biggest advantages Linux offers over MS...one of many. That if you don't like the service you're getting, you can get it from someone else. If you don't like the service you get from MS, and not many people do, you're stuck.
