in the spirit of Mike Cox...
I've talked to my computer geek and we both agree, Novell is doing the best possible thing for the industry by embracing Linux as the next generation technology of choice. We discussed at length the cost benefits of going with Linux and paying for the support and not the software.

I feel that the next-generation hardware supported by the new 2.6 kernel combined with Linux's natural ability to run very well on legacy hardware will be the innovation that allows them to crush Microsoft and all others who try to come close. Nobody else can support an installed base as far back as the 286 all the way through to the new AMD64, and make it all a heterogenous environment that is easy to use and manage!

My computer geek is ready to purchase at least 4 separate copies and download them as soon as they become available as I cannot wait for them to hit the shelves. I may only need 1 copy for 5 machines, but this is a cause I'm willing to pay for!
