This is not just about Linux

I have made my living in the Windows IT realm for the last twelve years. Why would I want Linux to take over? The problem is that I can no longer recommend a MS OS to my customers because the cuurent slate of possibilities have begun providing negative returns on investments. This is much bigger than whose OS is going to be on whose desktop. This is about the worth and viability of IT altogether. Linux isn't the answer. Most users would panic at the first sight of Linux. It is at this point, an OS for those who use the tech for the tech itself. I am personally tired of the push and shove between the two OS's. I just want a product that can be the viable business tool which the PC can actually be. But when it starts providing negative ROI, it can no longer be used and an alternative must be found. This is very basic economics. Short and sweet and undeniable.
