re: Does anybody find it iteresting....
>>Does anybody find it interesting that the same people that find fault with Microsoft security are here bashing any attempt to fix the problem? SP2 is a major security enhancement to XP. Those of you that complain about security should be happy about it's release.<<

No more than a Democrat bashing a Republican President for the sad state of the economy, then bashing any and all economic stimuli said Republican would present to Congress for implementation. It's not about getting the economy moving again, it's all about politics. It's about getting and maintaining power and taking power away from those who now have it.

The Linux shills are pretty much using the same playbook. i.e. Make the other guy (Bill Gates) look like the most evil person to come down the pike since Adolph Hitler. They don't want to see any security fixes - they just want Microsoft to disappear so the "almighty" Linux can rise and take it's "rightful" place. To them, Linus Torvalds is second cousin to God himself.

Never mind that Linux is far from being ready for prime time on the desktop. No matter that the average user would have to take three HUGE steps back and face another learning curve just so he can use his computer. All those concerns are immaterial. All that matters is that Microsoft, a successful corporation (read: EVIL corporation) is put out of it's misery.
