- Linux is a fine OS, and it is better than Windows in many areas, but it'll never replace windows on the consumer/client desktop in three years. KDE, Gnome or whatever window manager is used, still lack keyboard command consistency through the OS and application to application/OS, and that's only one problem. It hinders productivity, which waste money. Linux has a long way to go before it'll push Windows off the PC, until then use Linux on the server and Windows on the desktop.
