A suggestion from my kids
Greetings Mike, since my kids, Ropierre and MayAliceCatherine, are 8 and 9 years old respectively they cannot legally post on ZDNET talkback. They asked me to pass on some info to you. Oh Mike they admire you so much and they were wondering why you would save your message to desk top? They said to me, "Pops (they call me Pops) why would Mr. Cox include an unnecessary step in his process? Does he not realize the time wasted to save to desk top and then disc? Does he not realize the inherent security risks associated with this unecessary step?"

I had to explain to them that it is possible that Mr. Cox may have developed a habit that was born prior to the Windows XP expirience when such functionality to save directly was non-existant. They raised their little voices in praise to Bill Gates for such innovation to save directly to disc.

Gotta thank you once again Mike (may I call you Mike, Mike), for expanding my childrens horizons and giving opportunity for me dialogue with my children. Bless you Mike Cox.
