Why hammer Milly for stating the truth?

FACT: The current Beta sucks. Period. Had a tech conf last week, and the MS demonstraters even admitted it. The majority of the demo was "well, if it was working, this is what SHOULD happen" (as they closed processes to unlock the notebook and were able to reboot the system). Would hate to have been in those guys' shoes. LOL

FACT: There are a LOT of people who refuse to touch MS products for philisophical reasons. Admit it. Geez.

OPINION: Office 2K7 is not even _close_ to release. We'll get screwed on the software assurance agreements, but in the end...probably for the best. Judging by last-week's demonstration by MS personnel (one of whom was a member of the productivity programming team), we'd lose much more money in down-time and support costs with an early release rather than waiting. 2K7 sucks...but if they ever get it working, it will actually have some very useful features. (Imagine that!)
