In all seriousness, though, I honestly don't know how to respond to your comments. It's been a very long time since I've read something that incredibly mindless. You claim brilliance, yet all you have displayed are the markings of a clearly diseased mind. Open source is about choice, and the distribution of the decision-making process to many individuals who are then free to alter the software to fit their individual needs. Do you prefer the KDE? Fine. Make it so, or get a Linux distro that uses it. Do you prefer GNOME? Fine. Make it so, or get a Linux distro that uses it. Frankly, I think having one unified leader of all OSS would be nothing short of a nightmare and would undo the work of those who created it and evolved it to this point. Of course, that assumes doing so is even possible at this point, which I doubt, and that's a good thing.
