Time to turn off Windows Update
You know it's coming. One day soon, we'll read a story about how Microsoft secretly delivered a mandatory update that installs some new WGA cop.


I leave my update set to "download & notify". I think I might change that to "off", and then check manually, based on news reports. I'll let you others test MS patches for a week or two before I install them.
