Compare the responsiveness of Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 to Sun ONE Studio (or, alternatively, NetBeans IDE).. simple things like bringing up a list of methods of a class is, in my experience, much slower in Sun. And what language is Sun ONE / NetBeans written in?
