So it would be ok for MS to operate a child prostitution business??
I know for a fact it is illegal for an american citizen or an american company to run that type of business, EVEN IF LEGAL IN THE COUNTRY WHERE THEY ARE DOING IT. It is illegal for US citizens to travel overseas to have sex with children.

Well, not to over emphasize this example. That is one I remember reading. Both the companies and the individuals were prosecuted here in the US.

So Microsoft can NOT do whatever they please overseas with out being prosecuted here. If we found an internal memo that stated a tactic to put Lindows out of business by suing in every country possible, that would be clearly against the law.

It remains to be seen if Microsoft crossed the line in this specific case, or if there is enough evidence.

But in the end, it mmight not matter that Microsft is "technically" or "legally" correct here. The bad publicity is taking its' toll.
