Jurisdiction?
I don't know if the US court would have the jurisdiction to limit court filings in other countries (I really don't think they do), but if so, I hope the court grants this motion to Lindows.

I think this is a very interesting trademark infringement case and would like to see it come to a real resolution. MS's filing suits in every imaginable country is simply running up the defense costs for Lindows to a point that they might just have to cry "uncle."

In the interest of fairness, MS should let this case run its course in the US courts before attacking in other countries. But I know, as do you, that fairness is not on MS's mind here.

If the US court cannot limit such international actions, on the other hand, then it must do what is necessary to speed along the process to prevent the case being settled just because Lindows did not have the resources to fight on.
