There is absolutely no reason for other countries to want to ?Import? labor or products without regulations. Think about it ? if I have a poor economy I am going to do everything in my power to run a Trade Excess.

At this point, after seeing the absolute lack of attention the government has given to job loss, we will have to live with it or drive the situations. How?:

1) Buy US made products as much as possible (really do it don?t just say it). When done by hundreds of thousands of people this does make a sound to Corporate America, Investment Bankers, Investors etc.


2) Sell investments that are in companies that outsource. If you sell bonds, stocks, Mutual Funds, 401Ks / SEP / IRA (IE mutual funds) that invest in US companies that outsource stock prices fall ? in fact they can fall fast if enough do it. This sends an absolute message to the greedy Hog Investment Bankers, CEO?s, Investors?.?If you continue to pressure profits even at the risk of Jobs your profits will suffer as much as the American Worker.


3) Vote for people that will support the worker. And please don?t just listen to a politician jumping on the anti outsourcing band wagon. Many politician has voted Osha, EPA, FICA, Insurances, Worker Comp, Unemployment, Workplace requirements etc etc etc (all good ? but you have to realize this drives up employee costs making the US anti competitive). The US should not give any tax incentives to companies that move jobs abroad. This might be a cap based on type of worker (manufacturing, IT, help line etc etc)

Speak with your Money. Speak with your Vote. Let your elected officials know why you voted for them ? and why you will only vote for them in the future?if they fulfill campaign promises.
