Why people want to be MBA and attorney rather than programmer?

Slopoke is correct: Many people aspire to be an MBA or lawyer rather than a software developer. Perhaps because those career paths reasonably lead to a six-figure income and security to retirement age.

The U.S. goverment does not interfere with those wages by flooding in MBA and lawyers at $30k salaries.

The U.S. goverment is conspiring the subvert the natural supply/demand forces that would raise software development profession up to par with other professions. If not for this subversion, many more Americans would enter the profession, and there would be no need for H-1B.
