if H1Bs would be paid the prevailing wage, than nobody would hire them, just to go through the application process.
They are eighter underpaid or hired for lower job requirements(like junior programmer) than what they are actually performing.
Have you ever seen a job posting requiring skills that you can aquire in 10 years but the pay is 30K and position is entry level?
If yes, that was a 'no Americans need apply' position!
