So those who signed the "s/w assurance" (right ) plan

HOW DID THEY KNOW WHAT WOULD BE in the "future uprgades" to be able to determine if indeed the discounted prices BUY THEM SOMETHING of VALUE?

``The software assurance plan ties companies into automatic upgrades of new Microsoft software at a discounted rate. The plan was updated late last year after coming under fire for allegedly locking users into buying unnecessary Windows upgrades. ''

Apparently, another scheme to force feed the "future upgrades" of s/w that differs in " new UI and XML" only (!) ....

As such this is clearly Assurance that MS will be selling its Software but NOT MUCH of it for the poor customers....

(pervasive masochism?)
