No, I think I am smarter than most PC users, but
That's not to say that Linux cannot be used in a typical corporate environment. Yes, I have a better understanding of how my PC / Laptop works, and this gives me an unfair advantage over my Windows using counter parts. I have managed to connect to several printers without help from the IT department, and if I really need to use IE for something I can run it with Wine. I have also managed to connect my SuSE Pro 9.0 Linux laptop to the MS Exchange Server, again without assistance from the IT department.

Getting everything set up was the bear, now it just works. Automagically. No muss no fuss and I am able to perform my job with the extra security and stability afforded me by my system.

And since the majority of corporate users do nothing more than documents, spreadsheets and e-mail, Linux is more than ready for the Average Corporate desktop. Now when it comes to specialty software, there is a problem and I will acknowladge it as such. But that doesn't mean it cannot be solved.

There are those that can and those that wish they could. The wish they coulds could if they stopped wishing and just did.

Linux user: 147560

Linux is a tool, MS Windows is a tool, AIX is a tool and Macintosh is a tool. If the tool works use it. Linux is a tool that works very well for me, so I use it.
