Hah...
Have you ever tried to use Linux on the desktop in a typical corporate environment?

It just doesn't work - yet.

I've gained several clients from these pro-Linux 'geeks' who tried to sell Linux desktops to entire companies. They get the desktops, and reality sets in - they can't open this, they can't open that, this web site doesn't display properly, this printer isn't printing correctly with the Linux driver, this digital camera isn't working, etc... Then the consultant takes a 'higher-than-thou' attitude because Linux is being 'attacked' when the customer complains. Then I get hired to replace all this Linux installs with XP and everyone can work again.

It's happened 4 times so far, and I'm sure it will continue to.

I have nothing against Linux - I use it for certain purposes. When and if it's ready as a dekstop alternative, I'll be the first in line.

Until then, don't kid yourself.
