Not on my Mac ... ?

A couple of points:
a) it requires XP to run - can't run that on my PPC Mac
b) with skins, any browser can look like Safari - mostly
c) ...Apple Computer's Safari have lured strong followings of
their own, but none enough to overthrow IE is incorrect, at
least for the Mac platform. Safari has about 90% of the Mac
platform, Firefox running second, IE trailing after Camino and
Opera.

Nothing against Maxthon. Might be better than Safari, or not.
Might just help Safari develop additional features. But, right now
it isn't available for use by over 10% of consumers.
a) Mac owns over 5% of consumer market
b) Linux has a greater market share than OS X
c) there are still too many consumers running '95, '98 and 2K
