Open Source is dying..
If people want a light weight database for smaller projects, they need look no further than MSDE versions of SQL Server. I readily will go around and produce demos and marketing collateral around all of the fine work some of my MCSD's have done with MSDE. Of course, there is also Access 2003 and the upcoming Access 12 pre-alpha release to go with Longhorn. All of these are much more robust and usable than MySQL. I prefer to call it YourSQL because I WOULD NEVER USE IT!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!! My rep and I shared a good laugh when I came up with that one.
