I'm happy to see MySQL's change in position. Living in the heart of capitalism can sometimes give everything we think, do and see a distinct green tint. It's impossible to see where technology will end up. But if you read the news and/or propaganda being published today, I dare say you can see most of the issues at hand have arisen directly or indirectly because of the color green. Which by some odd reason happens to be the color of money. And, technology looks very bad dressed in green. Will technology ever serve man again or is its ultimate destiny to serve the root of all evil, the lust for money? One would be hard pressed to find a current issue in the news that was not rooted in money. I'm afraid that due to the current lack of vision by the technology press, one might have to read between the lines, but the color green is most assuredly there. Excuse me while I don my rose colored glasses. I can't keep looking at all this green.
