Totally Incorrect
I have to admit this is one of the few times I can agree with a
Democrat about something. I am a Senior Software Engineer
and have been around the block quite a few times. I can't
remember ever seeing the number of jobs in the white collar
sector bleeding away this fast. I have seen multiple large scale
layoffs here in Sacramento over the past few years with the jobs
all going to India or the Phillipines. I can't see any reason why
this would be helpful to our country. Sure we may have to pay a
buck or two less for an item at the store if it is made here, but it
would be more than worth it if the jobs stayed here. You can't
tell me that loosing millions of jobs is good for the economy
when the tax and business revenue from those laid off workers
is taken out of the system. I have friends who got laid off two
years ago now and they still can't find IT work because it is
getting drained off like crazy. I just can't see how anyone can
think outsourcing is good for us.
