I don't think the author of this piece was very reasonable either when he said, about Linux enthusiasts:

These are the same type of people who will happily publish the exploit to a previously undisclosed vulnerability to a public mailing list with no advance warning to Microsoft--they just hate MS that much.

I'd love to see some evidence back that up. It doesn't make sense to me that rabid Linux fans would spend all their time looking for vulnerabilities in Windows rather than using Linux. I'd even guess that Windows enthusiasts would know more about Windows and be in a better position to find vulnerabilities.

At any rate, if you can't stand to read criticisms of Microsoft's business practices, you are not going to find many spots on the net where you will not see them; unless of course Microsoft patches Explorer so that those sort of messages are censored happy
