Surely there will be software companies who will make good money off of this; but for how long, only time will tell. No doubt Microsoft will use these 3rd-party apps to save themselves time on development and research. They'll either buy out the good ones, or bundle their own versions and snuff out the 3rd-party vendors who gave the idea in the first place.
