"Software as a service" is not a new frontier. The Internet is
already an example of it.

The issue with service hosting is that all of your company's
data is tied to a 3rd party, which can be a blessing (lower
cost in administration), or a curse (uncertainty of data
security or integrity).

Besides, I don't know any company that uses POP email;
IMAP is so much better, and just as free.
