My IBM Thinkpad T42 runs for 3+ hours on a standard battery, and with a 9 cell battery can run for 5 or more hours.

I did have to do a little hacking to get it to suspend properly, but it was still easier than editing the registry.

Poor lovey, just spewing crap like he knows what he's talking about.
