Do what is right...blank the torpedoes full steam ahead.
You know something like our founding farthers and mothers
did. It was against the law to break away from Great Britian but
they thought it was the right thing to do. Hence a president was
started at the founding of this nation that "the law" is not the
end all to be all. Beyond the basics like "hey killing is bad" stuff
laws begin to get well silly and lacking is justice..more about
control than right or wrong. At times we have to use a sense
that is Loki given to determine that enough is enough and take a
stand. (I think old TJ Thomas Jefferson in his writings states
something to the same effect)
