- You're right about the software development and all the hyperbole it creates. But it makes me wonder how such a large and dominating business does little to truly develop (oops, innovate) something that's reliable and stable. Rather than letting their users (device driver writers) make the most of standards like OpenGL which is open and well documented, they force feed everyone with DirectX instead. Once again proprietary lockout. And of course there's others but I'm sure you get the point.
