I'd tell the private to crank up the bag phone (good 'ol M*A*S*H
style) or flip the cell phone and make a call.

Like I would need or use a sharepoint portal using XML schemas
from Infopath, C# blah blah blah .NET blah blah blah 2003 (it's
2004 for goodness sake), blah blah blah ... I, as the sergeant,
would be MORE worried the enemy has trojan'd, hacked, or
wormed any one of my windoze boxes ... and require them to all
be destroyed and/or formatted and install Linux.

Son ... the Army isn't as dumb as Bill Gates and obviously you.
