Don't blame just Microsoft...
Most companies I've heard of, no matter what business they're in, take the same route. A waste disposal company near us, I hear, paid something like 3,000,000 in fines a year to dump waste into the sea that would cost close to 10,000,000 to dispose of legaly. I mean, the list goes on, involving companies from many different industries. To think Ms would be the first (or only) company to do that is laughable...
