Bow to your master, please
Yes, Vista will be the only viable gaming option. But isn't it a
shame that you have no choice? Yes, you can run your games,
and the rest of the time run an OS that is sub-par and inferior in
every other respect. I love to game, and that must be done in
Windows, BUT NOT OUT OF CHOICE. For everything else I turn to
the sort of OS that brings back the first excitement I felt 30
years ago--Linux and Mac OSX. What I hoped for was for MS to
come out with an OS that was just as powerful and exciting and
those OS's, but instead I find that all of these years have
produced a product that is far less than predicted and clearly
based on the fact that MS knows that it owns the lion's share
and that YOU will have to fork up the bucks so you can play your
video games. I don't blame you for such, as I love gaming,
myself, and the game companies are always going to write for
the major market. I just think we should demand more out of MS
than this sad product. I will reluctantly switch to it when I have
to. Rather, I wish I could do so with the same excitement I felt
when moving from Windows 3.11 to Windows 95.
