Go over to http://us.creative.com, mouse over to Support, click in Downloads, click in Sound Blaster, click in Audigy, click in Audigy 2 ZS Notebook, click Next, click in the combo box that says Windows, click in Linux, and click the go button.
Now ask me... Do you see any audio drivers for the sound card? Look harder before you so "no."
Now do the same over at HP's website. This time, we will look into Laptops/Notebooks. Go to hp.com, click Notebooks, click Software and Drivers (don't ask me where to find it...
), click Download drivers and software (and firmware), type zv6130us, hit enter, and now here's my question! Do you see "Linux?"
Do you think that most of the hardware manufacturers write drivers for Linux?
Do yourself a favor and do your math. I've got tons of thousands of homework assignments for you! Bunch of them... I want you to buy every hardware that you can find, including SoundBlaster X-Fi, Audigy 2 ZS, wireless devices, etc.
See if you realize that most hardware manufacturers don't target Linux! Maybe some of the manufacturers, do, but some don't!
True or false. Most hardware manufacturers target Linux users by writing Linux drivers for their devices because of the higher market share.
Anyone, except for Linux "Geek" can answer my question given to him.
