I've yet to see a cash register running Windows
And my Wife is in the business of cash registers. They just don't run Windows.

Now I'm not talking point of sale(POS) systems here just cash registers. I've seen more and more POS systems taking over the cash register job. We looked into replacing our cash registers or designing our own POS run on Windows. It was far less money to just develope our own POS than buy a whole cash register system. Of course going the Windows POS route had some problems but the savings were worth it.
