It would not be that hard to crank it out in GTK+, but, yes, the VB programmers would not be much help. And, MySQL is a snap to use. Why did you not consider putting MySQL running on either Linux or Windows in each store instead of SQL server? You could access it using ODBC. Have you checked the optoins from SUSE/IBM?
