Think about this guys...
Linux is promoting a standard code base, and they use a standard code base from desktops to servers. All that is different are the apps installed and whether it is for desktop application or server. All it does is simplify the support process and base.

So why can M$ not do this? What is good forthe goose... On the other hand why dou you need media player and OE and IE bolted into the server, cant we just have browser. Make things modular it is so much better. I see they are working hard on making admin requirements a issue of the past when running applications. How successfull they are on that remains to be seen.

We will have to wait and see before a verdict is given.
