Flexible?? Linux...?
As soon as it is, Windows is gone for me. I would enjoy using my SUSE installation for everything if it was flexible. So when is this newfound flexibility coming to reality!?

I?ve got a few games I would like to install without any hassles, as well as several programs I find indispensable that there just are not any SUSE equivalents for. And quite frankly, I?m just about at the point with Linux now that I find is the reason why I cant get anyone else to switch to Linux and that?s because there are a few to many things that require command lines to do that I can do with not much more then a couple clicks with XP.

The added security of Linux is nice, but I don?t usually run into any problems with XP significant enough to make security a significant issue. I guess if it was a genuine issue I would be using SUSE exclusively on all my computers hard drives.

Oh ya, one last thing, plug and play installation for all hardware, not most, or almost all, I want virtually all. Don?t mind updating drivers if it only takes a minute or two to do and it?s not going to amount to much of a task. Oh! One more thing!!! Make sure that when they are building in this new found flexibility that I?m going to have no problem with any compatibility issues with my Linux box and Linux programs so far as interacting with 90% of other persons computers and software I may need to have compatibility with.

And as a parting thought, if its going to turn into anything like a science project getting all that done, that?s not flexibility. I can get XP to do all the things I mentioned, and it works great, but SUSE would be perfect as well if it had that real flexibility most of us want, and its free, then I would chuck Windows out the ?window? like a frizbee.
