The size of the OS has nothing to do with this.
The roadblocks are hardware design and networking as the article stated. Windows MCE already has most of the capabilities needed for the wired home. Does Linux? Don't know and don't care, but I doubt it. Right now, the ball is in the hardware designers' court to come up with designs that will be acceptable to the public and as easy to use as a TV set.
You Linux guys take any opportunity to promote your cause but offer no real information as to how Linux is really the answer to any question. Simply saying that it is doesn't cut it.
