The longer Vista is delayed the more people will realize the bloated POS Microsoft is trying to push on the unsuspecting consumer.

Vista will be the Windows ME of the NT Kernel OSes.

Mark my words.

Wrong. The longer it's delayed, the more people will think Microsoft's actually putting some extra emphasis on quality control.

Vista can't be the Windows ME of NT kernal OS's because there's NO new platform that it's trying to bridge a gap to. In other words - ME was supposed to bridge the gap between the Win 9x code base into the Win NT code base - and it did it very badly. It was also an interim release (ok.. an abortion) that should never have seen the light of day. It was a hodgepodge of technology that was never really meant to work together.
