- We have a independent Federal Tax Court system why not a patent court system? One of the big problems that the Patent Office has complained about in the past is that they do not receive clear direction from congress, surprise, surprise, surprise, or the courts. In the case of the courts it takes years to settle an issue. A patten court system would be faster.
