This article mentions MS three times - once in comparing the OSS effect in OS's to the databases, and twice in a list with other database makers.

Yet somehow it turned into a MS-bashing/loving session (although to be fair I have to point out that no_axe didn't actually say anything directly supporting MS in this thread).

Makes it pretty hard to take the posters here seriously when they're all just looking for an opportunity to bash their rival software makers.

Oracle would be affected much more by the trends mentioned in this article than MS, yet no one started bashing them specifically or calling their users 'Ora-twits' or the like.

I guess I should just stop wasting my time reading the talkbacks here.
