Agree with you
Peter Norton has made software for many years, before I ever heard of Symantec. I used his version of PCTools from version 1.0 to version 7 then things really started changing and Symantec came out of it. Before Windows the IBM capatiblies ran on MS-DOS..they were not MAC's and PCTools worked on them, and it was just great to fix those large 20MB hard drives.
So Norton went into the security business and we needed someone to take care of all the problems that started arising, and keep Microsoft on the up and up.
Personally I have used enough electronic junk to know that Symantec will be around for quite some time, and I'll be one of many glad to use their product, because I've used Norton software for over 20 years, as well as many others.
