It's not the first
It's not the first time that Symantec has jumped ship. Norton used to be only on the Mac and then all of a sudden jumped to Windows. I don't know if they still support Apple products or not.

Still, IMO this is a bad move by Symantec considering there bread and butter for many years has been Windows.

The old lets spend millions on a spurious lawsuit so it will give us time to go to another platform just doesn't ring true here.

As far as the Palm or Linx market, I would just as soon see them move on to something different. I have had nothing but problems with SAV and will never personally install it again on anything I own. Additionally I direct others away from it as well.

Say what you will, but maybe Symantec has a good enough case to nail Ballmer in the nuts and slap the heck out of Bill. Like is usually stated by axey - we will just have to wait on the courts to decide...
