Good punishment

NOW that the initial time has expired they will create the interop labs? What's the rush guys?


``The company also agreed that even if the final judgment expires in 2009, it will continue to license the technology that it currently is required to offer through Nov. 11, 2012. Companies would be able to license the technology for a minimum of five years.''

What a graceful offer on behalf of MS! Really...

They do not even want to FULLY disclose their protocols to their licensees! And they had to be condemned to even start licensing their protocols.

But with ALL this delay they are just waiting until these protocols become completely obsolete and irrelevant.

It is not their fault though, they are doing as much as they can get away with. Why would they clean up their act?
