Need wire cutters to trim whiskers.
I've read that years ago a writer of advertising with limited knowledge prepared a script in which the quality of a razor blade was proven by lathering up a lion and using a disposable.

The lion's ability to tolerate this process was supposed to be defining for "a comfortable shave".

Though the commercial was never made, the image has lived.

Think of Microsoft as the patient lion with cool blue shaving gel spread and foaming white across his face.

That will put you in the right mood to think of the company buying another small software startup, making the sellers wealthy and adding yet more performance to Microsoft software.
That is an act of exemplary benevolence.

Why isn't putting a small innovative startup out of its misery considered for a charitable deduction?

Points intended ironically. Good to see you again, LU.
