That's because you know it's the truth. IE won out because lazy people with no computer savvy saw the cute little blue e icon on their desktop, clicked on it, and were on the internet. We all know that Joe Sixpack was not complaining about standards, as he has no idea what the hell they even are. I don't like to just start slinging mud at someone without provocation, but it is obvious to most of us here that you either stretch the truth or warp it entirely at times. I could say that Netscape lost because most computer users thought is was misaligning the earth with thre rest of the milky way and it would sound just as untrue and nonsensical as the "reasons" you gave. How come you don't mention how Microsoft specifically set aside one billion dollars to destroy Netscape??? Why no mention of the real reasons why Netscape "failed"?...
