Widows OS 5 vs Palm OS

I had a terrible experience trying to use the Windows Mobile 5 OS on a Dell Axim x51v. The OS and the Outlook program could not do the most basic operations expected in a PDA. The system crashed at least once per day when I was merely trying to use the Calendar notification system and daily alarms. A number of the crashes required a lengthy hard reset procedure that wipes out everything in the PDA memory forcing a lengthy backup and restore. I gave up on the buggy Windows OS because it did not have a reliable notification or alarm system, and I went to the Palm TX. It works flawlessly for normal PDA functions, and IMHO it has better media amd music programs. It has never crashed. I have never needed to do even a soft reset.
