When will people learn...
that constant whining and complaining to legislators to "fix" problems will only exacerbate the problems. No legislature (state or federal) is going to prevent spyware or adware.

Preventing such software from being installed on the system is the only way to stop this. The MS operating system must become better at blocking this activity. So, if you want to complain, complain to MS, not to Joe Legislator.

The existence of anti-spam legislation has had no effect on spam. Likewise, anti-spyware legislation will be totally ineffective.
