Notice I said "either part of or all" I was careful to do that. Even if it is only System V, it is still part of Unix. Again you say "I think". That is fine but until the courts decide, it is just that, "I think."

I would call it stupipity on the part of you and your lawyers as you would have just opened yourself to a very massave lawsuit of which defamamation would be a very small, if it even entered into it, part of the suit.

To prove fraud, it would have to be proven that they knew what they were claiming was false and that they intended to defraud their customers. That may be a lot harder to prove than any other part of the case.
